Modern Phoenix Week 2017 involved a partnership with the Docomomo_US National Symposium on Modernism and Climate. Since many events during Modern Phoenix Week would be hosted by Docomomo and many events would be hosted by Modern Phoenix, we used the same artwork in two different color schemes to help identify events that were part of the national symposium.
A cool blue color scheme was used to identify all Modern Phoenix Week events.
A warm daytime color scheme was used on all Docomomo_US collateral and event signage to emphasize the theme of climate change and global warming.
Each year, promotional collateral follows a new color scheme. The vintage handpainted CMU block is a desirable door prize. Pins are used to identify volunteers as safety officers on the annual home tour.
